If you’d only know

Do you know that I miss you
In spite of all our differences
Just a few breaths roaming anew
Rolling past all our indifferences
Coming so short so shallow
You heard bewildered just a sight
Coming from an heart down below
A rising sun early in the night
You cometh silent unheard of all
Amongst our dreams and beginnings
Shining above, beyond our fall
A new morning of christening
Is it allowed to sing asunder
Broken mornings just like a rain
When all doves in a sleeping thunder
Question a sudden flight away from pain
Would you squelch unforgotten sights
In the mist of our searching souls
In your heavy path dreaming of kites
Rising gently above all shoals
Dancing upon dark fallen umbrellas
Owls suddenly eyes wide open cry
Our fallen paths sleeping Cinderellas
Of our bleeding hearts all but gone by
